Peachtree Media Group Inc, parent company of South Carolina Magazine, merged with Piedmont Publishing Inc, a successfully diverse 15 year-old magazine publishing company that produces Greenville Magazine, Greenville Design Magazine, as well as additional web-based products. Gary Ault, publisher of the three magazines, will continue in that capacity while Paul Gesimondo will become Managing Partner of the newly formed corporation.

The newly formed media company is incorporated under Peachtree Media Group and will offer expanded services to readers of Greenville Magazine, Greenville Design, and South Carolina Magazine.

Through continuing partnerships with companies such as SCETV, Southcarolina.com, South Carolina Municipal Association and others, South Carolina Magazine will increase its product offerings throughout the state while Greenville Magazine will continue to offer its business and community coverage featuring its 3 premier, popular trademark programs, The Cliffs, Business Person of the year, Greenville First Best & Brightest and its annual 50 Most Influential Greenvillians list. The magazine has continued to expand its distribution to businesses and business owners as well as through its marketing partners, and additional retail locations.

South Carolina Magazine, which as of November of this year will be published monthly, was established in 2002 by Gary Ault and Paul Gesimondo and continues to introduce its readers to the People, Places, Lure and Legend of the state and serves as the official lifestyle magazine of South Carolina. Along with its affiliates, South Carolina Magazine reaches over 1.5 million readers annually.

Along with subscribers in 48 states, South Carolina Magazine is distributed in bookstores throughout South and North Carolina.

Greenville Magazine, founded in 1993 by Gary Ault and Joe Erwin, has a circulation of more than 13,000 and a readership of more than 46,000 individual readers, and has marketing partnerships with The Cliffs Communities, Greenville First Bank, Furman University and the Riley Institute and WYFF TV, making it one of the most popular and anticipated magazines in this region.
