  • Trim size: 8 1/4” x 107/8”, Live area: 7” x 10”, Cover: Sheet fed 80 lb. gloss enamel, inside pages: Web-press, 60-lb. gloss enamel. Perfect bound. Maximum density for four- color process ink is 300%. Preferred image resolution for four-color images is 300 DPI. 1,200-2,540 DPI is the preferred range of resolution for line-work images. 133 to 200 line screens are preferred.

electronic files
  • Mac-based electronic files are preferred and should be supplied on Macintosh formatted CD, or floppy disks. Accepted files are PDF, InDesignCS, Quark Xpress 6.0, Illustrator, and Photoshop. All support files including fonts (Postscript) and images (Mac formatted EPS or TIFF) must be included. Electronic files must be accompanied by a full-size, final proof. Greenville Magazine cannot open files created in Pagemaker, Corel Draw, Freehand, Publisher and PC formats and is not responsible for errors in text, photos or placement of ads submitted in these formats and additional charges may be incurred.
e-mail
  • Ads submitted by e-mail must be pre-arranged with a sales representative and a proof must be faxed or mailed. We will not guarantee or be responsible for accuracy without a submitted proof. All support files, including fonts and images, must be included with the page files. File size must be under 10 MB.
bleed ads
  • Keep live copy within the standard ad dimensions of 7”x10”. Bleeds should be set to at least 1/4” beyond trim size of 8 1/4” x 107/8.” Thus, the total size, including bleed, should be 8 1/2” x 111/8” Please call for specifications of spread bleed ads.

production charges
  • Ad design, layout, copy writing, and illustration require a $55 set up fee. Other services are billed at cost plus 15%. GM created ads are copyrighted and for use only in Greenville Magazine. There will be an additional charge of $100.00 if ad is used for other purposes, or in any other publication.
blueline charges
  • Ads arriving after published deadlines or changes made after blueline are subject to charges, not including sales tax: $80.00 for black and white changes and $180.00 for color changes.
