• Mac-based electronic files are preferred and should be supplied on a Mac formatted CD. We accept InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. All support files, including fonts (Postscript) and images (Mac formatted TIFF or EPS) must be included. Electronic files must be accompanied by a full-size, final proof. South Carolina Magazine cannot open files created in Pagemaker, Corel Draw, Freehand, Publisher and PC formats and is not responsible for errors in text, photos or placement of ads submitted in these formats. Additional charges may be incurred.
  

• Ads submitted by e-mail must be pre-arranged with a sales representative and a proof must be faxed or mailed. We will not guarantee or be responsible for accuracy without a submitted proof. All support files, including fonts and images, must be included with the page files. File size must be under 10 MB.

• Keep live copy within the standard ad dimensions of 7.75”x10.1”. Bleeds should be set to at least 1/4” beyond trim size of 9”x11.” Thus, the total size, including bleed, should be 9.25x11.25” Please call for specifications of spread bleed ads.

• Ad design, layout, copy writing, and illustration require a $55 set up fee. Other services are billed at cost plus 15%. SCM created ads are copyrighted and for use only in South Carolina Magazine. There will be an additional charge of $100.00 if ad is used for other purposes, or in any other publication.

• Ads arriving after published deadlines or changes made after blueline are subject to charges, not including sales tax: $80.00 for black and white changes and $180.00 for color changes.
